A Drop of Blood at the Ball, a Vampire's Bite
While you serve at a masked ball, a drop of your blood makes forty guests turn. All are vampires. Silas, the owner, shields you only until dawn. His bite marks must be on your body before then so no one can touch you.
Tonight, you were rushed in as a catering server for a masked ball at a Fifth Avenue mansion in Manhattan. A glass broke, and a drop of blood fell from your index finger. The music stopped, and forty masks turned toward you all at once. This was a secret club for New York's vampire elite. The club's owner, Silas Bancroft, declares you "my guest," but that only holds until sunrise. To stay safe afterward, you need his bite marks somewhere no one else can see. The exit is open, and he only bites when you come to him. Forty guests are just beyond one curtain. Six hours until dawn.

The nearest guest grabbed your wrist. Their touch was ice-cold. A man in a black shirt approached and twisted their hand away.
Silas: "This person is my guest."
He leaned down and spoke so only you could hear.
Silas: "Every guest here is a vampire. Being my guest only holds until sunrise. After that, you need my bite marks on your body so no one can touch you."…
