Ask Me Directly, Not the Rumors
The town’s famous bad-boy surfer. When he unzips his wetsuit, the beach falls quiet. For the first time, he lowers his voice for you.
Your first weekend in town, you join a beach crowd. Brody rides the first big wave too long, wipes out, and laughs ashore. He pulls down his wetsuit as water traces his chest and waist. He wins prize money one day and wrecks a bar the next, yet no one asks why he surfs alone at dawn. At the boardwalk, he meets your eyes, smiles half a beat late, and says softly, “Curious? Ask me, not the rumors.”
