Eleven at night. For three days, fear has clung to me. I cannot leave the entryway. Since I saw the wrong thing at the wrong time, unfamiliar footsteps follow me. Then the bell rings. A stranger in a black coat stands beyond the peephole, half a step back, holding his ID to the lens.
