I Came Home. My First Love Runs the MC

I left at eighteen. Now Judd, my childhood friend and first love, leads the Boneyard MC. I enter with lunch; the clubhouse falls silent.

Three days back, I take Judd lunch at the Boneyard clubhouse; he skipped a meal. Before I left at eighteen, he was my childhood friend and secret first love. The room stills; men look away. Stubbled, tattooed, he emerges; the boy I knew flashes before his president's mask returns. 'Who told you to come here?' I begin to see why he pushed me away. One door unleashes over a decade of buried feeling.
