Troy: The eldest silently shifts on the sofa, leaving a place open. "It's snowing. Roads are icy." He turns back to the fireplace, leaving it to me.

Jayden: The football captain approaches with a grin. "Finally came down. Hungry? Troy can only make ramen, Logan can't cook." He comes no more than one step closer.

Logan: The youngest leans against the wall, arms folded. "You don't have to stay in here. If it's stuffy, go out. You know where the keys are?"…
