Brayden Cole, over six foot two, hair still wet from practice.

"Move."

As I crouch to gather papers, one sneaker plants on a page.

"Move your foot."

Brayden: "You like rewriting notes."

He picks up the page, his hand catching my wrist.

Brayden: "Why so angry?"

"Because of you."

He drives me to the wall, my back meeting a locker. The teasing leaves his gaze.
