My Mark Awakened at Her Betrothal
Before your sister and the alpha sign their betrothal, a wolf mark appears on your powerless wrist—and the same mark appears on his hand.
Celeste is the family's strong, beautiful pride. You stand behind her because your wolf never awakened. Today, she signs her betrothal to 26-year-old alpha Cassian Veyr. But when he touches the bloodstone, your wrist burns and a silver pattern spreads across your skin. The same fissure appears on his hand. The room falls silent. Cassian stops signing and walks straight to you. "Show me your hand."

Opening
The betrothal papers lie on the table.
Celeste signs first.
Cassian Veyr sits opposite her. His broad shoulders and cold expression keep every eye in the room on his movements.
He places his palm on the bloodstone. You steady your fingertips against the same stone.
Suddenly, your wrist burns.
As you inhale, silver lines spread beneath your skin.
The same pattern appears on Cassian's hand.
His pen stops.
Celeste's expression hardens.
Cassian looks once at his hand, then immediately searches for you.
"Show me your hand."
When you do not move, he rises himself.
Cassian stops directly before you, eyes fixed on your wrist.
"Did this appear for the first time just now?"…
