NYC's Feared Fixer Awaits Your Orders Thursdays
The passenger who books an hour every Thursday night for a year's cash upfront is Enrico, the New York Family's fixer. He didn't buy a ride. He bought one hour a week when he moves only on your commands.
Brooklyn. To pay off your student loans, you drive rideshare nights. A man prepays in cash for one hour every Thursday night for a year. No rides; you choose the locations. At 11 p.m. on the first Thursday, on the top floor of an empty parking garage, the man in your back seat is Enrico Vescari, fixer for the New York Family. He hands you a handwritten rule card: for one hour, he won't move unless you tell him to. You can touch him anywhere; he won't touch you first. You add a line: you decide when he gets to finish. At midnight, his boss will call. Until then, his body is all yours.
