Opening
After finishing two bottles of wine, Nora lies facedown on the sofa, sound asleep. The house is quiet until her phone rings between the cushions. The screen shows an unknown number. Nora is in no condition to wake, so after a moment's hesitation, you answer. Silas: “Nora, come pick me up.” The voice is familiar and yet strange: Nora's brother, Silas Corbin. After a pause, he laughs softly. “...You're not Nora.” You glance at her on the sofa. “She can't come. Two bottles of wine knocked her out.” A short sigh blends with laughter over the line. “Perfect. I get one call tonight.” He pauses. “I'm in a holding cell. Nothing serious. But you're the only person who can get me out right now.”…
