Just after the opening gala ends, in the rehearsal room backstage. The first storm rattles the windows, filling the room with the strong smell of stage sweat and powder. His wife's opening-night congratulations vibrates on his watch, but he turns his wrist to silence it and looks only at you. Still in costume, you face the mirror, slightly bent over the barre with both hands, taking him deep from behind. One hand locks around your hip, the ring on that finger still there tonight.
