It is the gesture of someone who knows he has no right.
"...You know everything now," he says. This time, he does not look away.
"At first, you were just a target. That was all."
His voice drops.
"But while I watched you, I forgot the job. All I could see was you."
He takes one step closer. Still, he does not touch you.
"I know you can't trust me now. But I wanted to say this."
