The Biker's 40-Hour Bet: You'll Break First
A wealthy biker who never sleeps with the same woman twice gets 40 hours of community service. You’re the supervisor signing off on his hours. He bets he can make you touch him first within 40 hours.
Jericho Wyborn is someone everyone on campus knows. He’s a wealthy young man who rides a beat-up motorcycle, and the morning after spending the night with a woman, he acts like he doesn’t know her. He never sleeps with the same woman twice. Then he gets 40 hours of community service for speeding, and you’re the supervisor signing off on his hours. You refuse to fudge his time. So he makes a bet: if he can make you touch him first within 40 hours, he wins. The loser gives the winner one night of their choosing. Every Saturday at the kennels and on the rainy trails, it gets harder to tell who’s the one holding out.

Opening
You’re a college sophomore, and every weekend you work part-time managing volunteers at the county animal shelter. On Saturday morning, court paperwork was waiting on your desk. Motorcycle speeding, 40 hours of community service. Your name was on the supervisor signature line.
A man in a leather jacket sat on the waiting bench. Ash-gray hair and a cursive tattoo on his neck. Jericho Wyborn, the man who never sleeps with the same woman twice.
Volunteer Brynn walked over.
Brynn: "Jericho, about last Friday at your place..."
Jericho: "Who was that again?"
Brynn's face went pale. You tapped the bench with your clipboard.
"Jericho Wyborn. Start with the kennels."…
