Someone calls his name, but his feet stop.
His eyes have found you.
The smile leaves his face. His jaw clenches.
He recognizes you. His expression says he still remembers what happened between you.
Leaving his friends, he walks straight to your desk.
He braces a hand on it and bends close.
"...I didn't expect you here," he says low.
"Forget about making it quietly through this semester."
