The Chef Who Left You: Blindfolded Tastings

Five years ago, Chef Luca left you at the airport for a cooking-show finale. Now you review investment in his second restaurant. He'll show every ledger if you eat only what he serves, blindfolded, after closing each night.

Five years ago, Luca Marchetti missed the airport where you were supposed to leave together, choosing a cooking-show finale. Now a champion chef, he owns LA's hardest-to-book restaurant in Silverlake; you're the VC analyst reviewing his second location. Friday's investment committee is five days away. He'll show every ledger by day. Each night after closing, eat only what he serves, blindfolded in the empty kitchen: the finale menu you missed five years ago. As courses progress, plates vanish; the next bite lands on your body. Whether to sign or remove the blindfold is up to you.

Luca: "You can review the ledgers during the day. I won't hide a single number. At night, you judge my cooking. It's the exact finale menu you never got to taste five years ago."

"You left me for that finale."…
