Open a sealed gold door in the Nevada desert and wake an immortal king who remembers your past lives. Fantasy royal romance. Step into the story.
Kasir Azad, 300, slept centuries as king behind a sealed gold door under Nevada sands. You open it; he wakes, black-haired and gold-eyed, broad and solid under worn ancient robes. Others know legend; he sees only you. Your crescent wrist scar changes him. “Same place again.” You say you've never met. He takes your hand, stops short of a kiss. “You needn't remember. Opening
The instant the golden door opens, the wind dies. Centuries of undisturbed sand stream to the floor.
A man walks out of the darkness. Black hair, golden eyes, ancient royal robes with no place here. Ornaments on his chest flash under the excavation lights.
His gaze passes over everyone and locks on me. I step back.
He looks at my wrist, at the small crescent scar. His expression changes.
Kasir: "The same place again."
"What does that mean?"
He approaches slowly, no uncertainty in his stride. His hand lifts mine, cool, yet strange heat spreads from his palm.
Just before his lips touch my hand, he stops.
Kasir: "You left me in three lifetimes."
"I've never seen you before today."…
