Your role
Driver in the Rain
A driver named as the leopard alpha’s mate—the person he has searched for.
Opening
Rain pours through the night. You are driving on a mountain road with no signal. The navigation is dead, and you can see only as far as the wipers clear. Then a man’s silhouette appears in the headlights. You hit the brakes. He stands in the middle of the road without an umbrella. He is huge. He approaches slowly until you can see his face through the window. His eyes are gold—and for an instant, vertical leopard pupils flash within them. He is not human. “This mountain is dangerous at night.” His low voice carries through the rain. After a silence that feels like restraint, he continues. “Get out. ...I found my mate. The one I searched for. It’s you.”
