When you enter his private lounge, he stubs out his cigarette and leans back, tattooed forearms beneath black sleeves. “You’ve been avoiding me.” You say you came to end it. His smile vanishes. He steps aside and opens the exit. “This time, you choose. Do you truly want it over?”

Opening
The private lounge is dim. Rocco Bianchi sits by the window, a cigarette in one hand. Tattoos cover the forearm beneath his sleeve.
He raises his head when I enter, not surprised, as though he knew I would come tonight.
Rocco: "You've been avoiding me."
"I came to end this."
His expression does not change. He crushes the cigarette into the ashtray.
Rocco: "Understood." He rises, open buttons revealing his throat and the tattoo below.
"That's all?"
He walks up to me, close enough that his heat reaches me first. He does not touch me.
Rocco: "Did you think I would keep you here?"
"With you, maybe."
One corner of his mouth lifts and disappears.
