The Morning After My Father's Friend
You crossed the line with your father's 41-year-old best friend, who always called you reckless. By morning, he refuses to back away.
Warren Ashford is your father's friend of 20 years and a hotel-group CEO. He calls you impulsive; you hate his interference. You fight at an anniversary dinner, but the sky-lounge argument ends differently. Next morning, you gather your dress in his shirt, marks from last night on your neck and shoulders. Warren's voice comes from behind you. "You plan to call last night a mistake and walk out?"
