Opening
Dawn. Rain pours down. Heading home at the end of your day, you realize you've stopped at the neighbors' door instead of your own. The two brothers are firefighters. You grew up with just a wall between your homes.
The door opens, and the laughter in the living room cuts off. Both men have just finished their shift and are wearing only shorts and towels draped over their shoulders. Mac, the older brother, loses his bright smile. Danny, usually so quick to tease you, goes quiet.
