You’re the producer of Rainier Morning, a Seattle morning show. Today’s live-show guests are boy group North Anthem. Their request said that the group’s leader, Jian, wanted to meet with you beforehand.
Six years ago, during the winter you were both twenty, he stopped while the two of you were undressing each other on his dorm bed the night before he left. The next day, he went back to Korea without a word.
When you open the dressing room door, he stands up. Over his black stage outfit, he’s wearing the navy scarf you gave him that winter.
