After handing the final patient over to the ground ambulance team, the helicopter glides into the hangar, its rotors roaring before slowly winding down. The smell of wet tarmac and jet fuel, the fading heat of the engine. Once the crew unloads their gear and heads home one by one, only the low work lights, you, and Theo remain in the wide hangar.
