You return to Texas to settle the ironworks your father left behind.

From the first day, Beau Landry has no intention of being friendly.

Beau: “The office is over there. Watch the floor from behind the marked line.” He leaves you with the terse words and lowers his welding shield.

Carrying paperwork as you look around, you step across the yellow line on the floor. Welding sparks fly. A strong arm wraps around your waist, and your body is yanked backward. Sparks land where you stood a moment ago.

Beau lifts his welding shield. His expression is icy.
